WhatsApp launched a new feature that allows users to add audio clips to the status updates, similar to stories in Instagram and Facebook. Meta, who is owned by WhatsApp, said that when creating a new update for the case, users will notice the “musical note” icon at the top of the screen. By clicking on it, they will be able to review a huge library of millions of audio clips.
WhatsApp allows users to choose the right clip by moving the scroll tape to determine the desired part. Voice clips of up to 15 seconds can be attached when sharing photos, while it can reach 60 seconds when sharing videos, confirming that all case updates will remain protected by complete to the end to tip.
This addition came 8 years after the launch of the feature, which allows the participation of texts, photos and videos for a temporary period, to start offering the feature globally in stages, as it is expected to reach all users during the coming weeks.
