WhatsApp today announced a feature to filter favorite chats and groups, making it easier for users to prioritize and manage their communications.
According to WhatsApp, with this feature, users can easily mark the most important chats and groups as favorites, ensuring quick access and prioritization within the interface. This improvement also allows users to improve their messaging experience by reducing the time spent searching for specific conversations, and improving overall efficiency and organization.
“WhatsApp is rolling out a new filter to quickly locate favorite chats and groups,” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement. “This update enables users to enhance their messaging experience by easily accessing their most important conversations directly from the Chats tab. Users can also mark both individual chats and group chats as favorites, ensuring they are easily accessible and prioritized.”
Additionally, another filter is now available to allow users to quickly locate their favorites within the Calls tab, making the process of making calls faster, ensuring that users can easily connect with their favorite contacts and groups.
WhatsApp indicated that the feature is also available on the iOS application, in iOS 24.11.85.
