Instant messaging platform WhatsApp announced testing a new feature to better manage people and groups, to be launched in a future update.
The WhatsApp Beta website stated today that this new feature, which is being tested, will enable the user to create different lists to organize his contacts and groups, ensuring accuracy in managing his interactions.
This feature will be especially useful for users who have a large number of contacts, as it allows them to easily sort and categorize their contacts and groups.
It is worth noting that there is a possibility to use this feature to update the status, allowing users to easily share photos and videos with the most appropriate audience, by creating custom lists.
Users will also be able to target their status updates to specific people, improving communication and efficiency.
This will allow users to share relevant information with specific friends, family or colleagues without broadcasting it to their entire contact list or constantly updating their privacy settings for different content.
