Xiaomi unveils its foldable phone, Mix Fold 4

Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled its new foldable phone, Mix Fold 4, which features a slim and light design and a periscope camera.
According to the company, the phone weighs 226 grams, has a thickness of 4.59 mm when the phone is open, and 9.47 mm when the screen is folded. The phone also features a T800H carbon fiber design to support the phone, with 300% improvements in the phone’s body resistance, as the phone supports IPX8 standards for water resistance at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
The Mix Fold 4 also features a 6.56-inch LTPO OLED display on the outer cover, with FHD+ display quality, and the screen supports a variable refresh rate from 1-120 Hz, and dimensions of 21:9, while the inner screen comes in a size of 7.98 inches, with a layer of (UTG) glass, and the screen is characterized by FHD+ display quality, and supports a variable refresh rate from 1-120 Hz, and a brightness of 3000 nits, and each screen includes a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The phone comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
On the other hand, this version features a quad rear camera setup with Leica technology and Summilux lenses. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical stabilization, a 50-megapixel secondary sensor for portrait shots, a 10-megapixel secondary sensor with periscope lenses for up to 5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide viewing angles.
The Mix Fold 4 is powered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface, Android 14 operating system, 5100 mAh battery, 67W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, the base model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
