With only a few weeks remaining until this year’s special event, the Qatar Boat Show, which runs from November 6 to 9, promises to present amazing displays of luxury boats and yachts to ensure a unique experience for patrons and visitors alike, in addition to many fun events that include workshops and discussion sessions. Engineer Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port, said on the sidelines of signing the agreements that the Qatar Boat Show in its first edition aims to pave the way towards enhancing the tourism status of the State of Qatar and supporting the marine tourism sector in the country in line with the strategy set for the port and the Qatar National Vision 2030. This is done by harnessing all efforts to implement plans that contribute to strengthening the port’s position as a prominent tourist attraction in the heart of the city of Doha and making it one of the most important marine tourism destinations in the Middle East.
He added: “We are pleased to work side by side with Qatar Airways, Qatar Tourism, QTerminals, Qatar Mwani, the Ministry of Transportation, and Al Kass Sports Channels with the aim of achieving the success of the Qatar Boat Show 2024.” He expected that the exhibition would attract pioneers of the maritime sector, which would give visitors unique opportunities to communicate and exchange opinions in this field.
