6 medals for the Qatari team at the conclusion of the Arab Athletics Championship for juniors

The Qatari team ended its participation in the 10th Arab Athletics Championship for Juniors, both boys and girls, in sixth place, achieving 6 colored medals (two gold, two silver, and two bronze), in the championship held in the Saudi city of Taif.
Player Zakaria Ibrahim won the gold medal in the pole vault competition, while Mohamed Mohamed won the gold medal in the discus competition.
In the pole vault category, Hamad Al Sultan won the silver medal, while Osama Mohammed won the silver medal in the 400-meter race.
The two bronze medals were won by Mubarak Saeed in the 800-meter race, and the national team in the medley relay race.
The teams of Saudi Arabia (host), Jordan, the Emirates, Egypt, Yemen, Kuwait, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritania, Libya, and Bahrain participated in the tournament.
The Moroccan team topped the overall ranking with a total of 31 medals (10 gold, 13 silver, and 8 bronze), while the Algerian team came in second with 18 medals (7 gold, 2 silver, and 9 bronze), and Saudi Arabia came in third place with 21 medals (6 gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze).
