The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of today’s trading, supported by most sectors. The index rose by 0.25 percent, adding 26.30 points to its gains, and thus rose to 10,475 points, compared to the closing of yesterday’s session (Monday).
Figures issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange showed an increase in the performance of most sectors, with the telecommunications sector leading the gains by 1.33 percent, followed by the real estate sector by 0.36 percent, then the transportation sector by 0.32 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.27 percent, and the industries sector by 0.19 percent. On the other hand, the insurance sector decreased by 0.05 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.11 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trading worth 73.669 million riyals, distributed over 48.363 million shares through the execution of 2,752 transactions.
