Qatar Tourism announced the launch of the third edition of its annual award 2025, as the application has been opened through the allocated platform, provided that the deadline for receiving requests is on August 7.
The award, launched by Qatar Tourism in cooperation with the World Tourism Organization, aims to honor individuals and companies in the tourism and hospitality sectors in Qatar, in appreciation of their distinguished contributions to enhancing the standards of excellence in service.
This initiative, which enters its third year, continues to expand its scope and aspirations, as it is a long -term project that celebrates exceptional performance and encourages positive competition in the sector. The Qatar Tourism Award aims to honor those who prove their continuous distinction in their fields, by providing high -quality services and making exceptional experiences for residents and visitors.
The initial sorting of this year’s requests will be in cooperation between Qatar for Tourism and the World Tourism Organization, and the final evaluation task will be assigned to a prominent jury that includes a group of local and international experts, and its formation will be officially announced next June to ensure full transparency with all applicants.
This year’s version includes two new branches of the award: “The Best Landyer of the Year”, which honors a general manager that showed an exceptional leadership and innovation in hotel management; And “the head of the leading guest service for this year”, which is granted to a prominent person from one of the five -star hotels in Qatar who embody the service centered around the guest and are distinguished by their local experience.

Qatar Tourism, in cooperation with the World Tourism Organization, launched in 2023 the “Qatar Tourism Award” program, a program aimed at honoring the most prominent contributions and efforts made by partners in the tourism sector to provide distinguished and exceptional tourism experiences in Qatar.
The program highlights the positive elements and luminous aspects that contribute to enhancing visitors’ experiences at each stage of their visit to Qatar, by honoring tourism companies that constantly maintain excellence in the services they provide to their customers. The award program also seeks to encourage all partners who contribute directly or indirectly to providing tourism experiences to continue to develop constructive initiatives characterized by uniqueness and sustainability, meet the requirements for access and the highest standards of excellence in the service.
The Qatar Tourism Award celebrates excellence in service, cooking arts, distinctive tourist attractions, events, digital fingerprint, sustainable tourism, societal leadership, and honoring the achievements that enhance Qatar’s position as a global -level tourist destination.
The general goals of the award
The Qatar Tourism Award seeks to enhance excellence and innovation in the national tourism sector, and to honor the authorities and individuals who are actively contributing to the advancement of the visitors experience in the State of Qatar. The basic goals include the following:
1- Encouraging excellence in providing tourism services: by highlighting best practices and motivating tourism facilities to improve the quality of their services continuously.
2- Enhancing competitiveness in the tourism sector: by creating a positive environment for competition between the various parties working in the field, which is reflected in the satisfaction of visitors and the diversity of the experiences provided to them.
3- Supporting innovation and creativity in tourism: by highlighting new projects and ideas that provide innovative solutions and distinguished tourism experiences.
4- Raising the level of the visitor’s experience: By motivating institutions and individuals to provide integrated tourism experiences that take into account the needs of visitors and outperform their expectations.
5- Enhancing Qatar’s position as a global tourist destination: by highlighting the national efforts that contribute to supporting the Qatar Vision 2030 and developing the tourism sector as one of the tributaries of diversifying the national economy.
Prize categories
1- Excellence in the service: The prize for excellence in service is estimated at hotels, spa, resorts, holiday homes, and exceptional new hotel facilities. She also honors those who provide distinguished experiences in the tourism sector.
2- Food tasting experiments: Foods taste experimental award focuses on the scene of eating in Qatar, and honors exceptional restaurants that offer luxury food and casual through fast food providers, cafes, or authentic Qatari food eating experiences, or new Qatari restaurants.
3- Distinguished monuments and activities: This prize highlights the most important Qatari monuments that embody the life of Qatar’s vibrant and diversity, starting from rich cultural experiences and enthusiastic tourism adventures to shopping centers and interesting parks.
4- Great Events: The Grand Prize for the Distinguished Events honors the world’s international image. Which ranges from the most important event in the category of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions for this year, the pioneering local cultural event, and the pioneering sporting event for this year.
5- Digital imprint: The digital fingerprint prize for digital pioneers who reshape the image of Qatar is celebrated through exceptional marketing campaigns, the best image of Qatar, which provides the most beautiful image or video, and the best tourist content maker for this year.
6- Smart and Sustainable Tourism: This award honors initiatives that enhance tourism while giving priority to sustainability. From leading projects to facilitating access to tourists with special needs, leading sustainable tourist facilities, and environmentally friendly hotel facilities.
7- Community leaders: This prize highlights leaders who are innovative and dedicated. The categories include “the best hotel for the year” to celebrate the emerging talents.
