Qatar Central Bank announced the availability of the Al -Ayda ATM service (the breadth of Eid) starting today, Friday, in 10 centers and commercial complexes spread in the country, and the Eid scrap will be available from the categories of 5 riyals, 10 riyals, 50 riyals and 100 riyals. The places available with the feast scrap include both Plas Vanmum Mall – Qatar Mall – the old Al -Wakra Market – Doha Festival City – Al -Hazm Mall – Al -Maraqab Mall – Western Walk (West Wook) – Al -Khor Mall – Al -Meera Association (Mua’ath Branch) – Al -Meera Association (Al -Thumama Branch).

It is expected that the withdrawals from the ATMs are expected to witness a large number of citizens and residents next week, as they are among the traditions of holidays and aspects of joy that are characterized by families, especially children and youth.
The Qatar Central Bank was keen to direct banks to support liquidity in the automatic ATMs, whether for the external holiday or the regular cashiers spread in all regions of the state, especially the equipment available in commercial complexes, malls and popular markets in central Doha and the places of workers, in preparation for the blessed Eid Al -Adha.

Alternative channels
For its part, banks called for relying on alternative channels during the coming days, including the official leave, especially mobile applications, and the websites of banks to complete banking transactions, in order to save effort on customers and save time instead of attending personally to the bank after the Eid.
The banks confirmed the provision of all the services they provide on alternative electronic channels, whether mobile applications for banks or websites for banks, while taking all safe reserves that ensure the completion of banking operations without any danger, with speed in implementing electronic customer requests.

Electronic services
The banks operating in Qatar are witnessing a great demand for the electronic services that they provided during the current period, with the start of the holidays and travel season, whether citizens traveling for tourism or residents traveling on their country.
For their part, banks have strengthened and supported the liquidity available in the ATMs, to confront the continuous withdrawals, and some Gulf currencies witness a request during the current period, including the dollar, the Saudi riyal and the UAE dirham, to finance travel operations abroad, whether for tourism or the travel of residents to their country.

Increased demand
A number of bank managers and branches emphasized that the current period is witnessing an increase in the demand for banking services, including transfers and the purchase of currencies from banks and increasing cash withdrawals from ATMs, so banks have prepared to facilitate individuals ’transactions, with a focus on alternative channels during this period to complete banking transactions, where bank applications were developed on mobile devices to provide all banking services and transactions to facilitate customers, starting From payment of installments, to obtaining various financing and obtaining a check notebook.
ATMs in all regions were also supported by additional liquidity to meet the increasing demand and provide customer needs, especially in areas that witness the demand for the use of these devices such as commercial centers, malls and market areas.
