Qatar Ports, in cooperation with the European Security Company (EGSS), organized a training course on “the application of security patrols”, with the aim of developing the skills and capabilities of security cadres, raising the level of readiness and the speed of response, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance the efficiency of security systems in the company’s facilities.
Qatar Ports offer various training courses aimed at developing the skills of workers in the port sector, and enhancing their efficiency in managing and operating various ports, including Hamad Port and Doha Port.
These courses focus on various fields such as logistics management, port security, risk management and marine safety.
Qatar Ports also provide specialized training courses in the field of information and communications technology used in ports.
Hamad Port, which is run by Qatar Ports Company under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications, is ranked one of the largest ports in the Middle East with a capacity of 7.5 million stereotypes annually, and is one of the most important long -term projects that embody Qatar National Vision 2030, which is a tributary of social, economic, environmental and human development in Qatar. Hamad Port extends over an area of 29 square kilometers and includes a public cargo station with a capacity of 7 million tons annually and a grain station with a capacity of 1 million tons annually, in addition to the auto station that accommodates 500,000 cars annually. The first and second stations of the three stations are currently operating in the port with a capacity of approximately 5 million stereotypes annually, which will eventually reach more than 7.5 million stereotypes per year.
