A new study showed that sweeteners in foods and drinks may significantly increase the risk of early adulthood in children. These results may have long -term effects on food guidelines and child care.

Localities are located in a wide range of daily foods and drinks, including low -fat soft drinks, minkly yogurt, sugar -free gum, protein panels, breakfast pills, and even some children’s medications.

The study was conducted by researchers from the One Fang Hospital of the municipality of Taipei and Taybie Medical University in Taipei, Taiwan, and its results were presented at the annual meeting of the Endocrine Association in San Francisco in the United States, which was held between 12 and 15 July, and the American magazine Newsweek was written about.

The researchers analyzed the data of more than 1,400 teenagers, 481 of whom summarized “Central Precination Puberty”, and they found a strong link between the consumption of localities and the central puberty, a situation in which puberty begins unusual, usually before the eighth age of girls and ninth among boys.

The spread of central early puberty increases all over the world, and it can have permanent health consequences, including emotional challenges, short stature at puberty, and an increase in the risk of reproductive disorders and metabolism later in life.

“This study is one of the first studies that link modern eating habits – specifically the eating of localities – with genetic factors and early adulthood of a large group of people in the real world,” said Dr. Yang Cheng Chen, who holds a PhD in Medicine from the One Fang Hospital of the municipality of Taipei and Taipei Medical University.

Localities disrupt the hormonal organization

The researchers evaluated eating using urine questionnaires and tests, and they measured the genetic risks based on 19 gina associated with early puberty.

The study revealed specific effects by sex for common sweeteners, which include aspartame, sugar, glycerin (compound found in licorice) and added sugars.

The consumption of licorice, sugar and sugars added to girls were associated with the high risk of central adulthood. As for children, sugar has emerged as the most important place linked to the beginning of early puberty.

The researchers also found a relationship between the dose and the response: the more consumed sweeteners, the greater the risk.

These results are based on the previous Chen’s work, which showed that sweeteners can disrupt the hormonal organization and balance the intestinal microbes.

For example, it was previously proven that “ACEK”, which activates the receptors of the brain cells participating in the “sweet taste” paths, which increases the secretion of hormones associated with puberty and tension molecules.

It was also found that licorice changes the bacteria of the intestine and fastens the main genes that organize adulthood. “This indicates that what children eat and drink, especially localities, may have a sudden and strong impact on their growth,” Chen said.
