The activities of the third edition of the Qatar Games Festival organized by the Visit QATAR festival will be concluded today, Monday, and its activities were launched last July 6 at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Center.
The third edition of the Qatar Games Festival was distinguished by being the largest and best, as the families provided many opportunities to enjoy the summer atmosphere in Qatar through a bouquet of live entertainment shows and various exclusive events, and the festival also allowed children to watch their favorite characters and enter the game areas, and watch the shows offered by the most famous brands and characters in the world of children’s games, which made it an unforgettable entertainment experience.
The festival, which spanned an area of more than 17,000 square meters, includes 10 sales outlets, including Build-A-Bear and Mumuso, a food and beverage yard that includes signs such as Exit55, Juniors, Belgian Fries, and Pizza Box.
The festival witnessed many performances this year, the most prominent of which is the heroes of the boys, the city of princesses for girls, the land of young children, and the Hyperland as a distinctive space for the air involvement, in addition to the main theater. The events also included more than 10 theatrical performances per day, which included musical performances, scientific experiences, entertainment shows and competitions, in addition to attending a number of influential characters such as Abu Boufla and ALJ sisters.
This version also witnessed the launch of the Qatar Summer Games Camp, a vital and organized program designed for children from 4 to 12 years old, which was organized daily from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm throughout the festival period. The camp presented a set of educational and recreational activities.
The festival also included a new program entitled “Back to Schools”, which was held during the last week of the event, and included theatrical performances, competitions and prizes. The stores also provided return to school products to meet the needs of families with the approaching of the new academic year.
The Qatar Games Festival contributes to strengthening Qatar’s position as a destination for family tourism and reflects the ability of the state to organize major events and possess advanced infrastructure. This festival is considered one of the activities within the VISIT QATAR calendar during the summer, where the promotional campaign was launched for the summer of 2025 «Qatar on Hawak» that target visitors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and abroad. The campaign aims to highlight Qatar as a summer destination that provides rich and varied experiences that satisfy all tastes, which enhances its position as a distinctive option to spend a summer vacation that suits the aspirations of the various categories of visitors.
