The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said today, Tuesday, that a few days separate hospitals from stopping as a result of running out of fuel.
The ministry said – in a statement published on its Facebook page today – that the crisis of fuel shortages in the remaining hospitals operating in the Gaza Strip enter a very dangerous stage.
She added: “A few days may carry scenes with the stopping of the work of vital departments, which means the exacerbation of the health crisis and exposing the lives of patients and wounded to the certain death,” explaining that the technical and engineering measures to schedule the operating periods have become useless with the stopping of fuel supplies.
The Ministry renewed the urgent call to all concerned authorities to intervene to ensure the strengthening of fuel balances in hospitals, to avoid a catastrophe whose results cannot be expected.
