Mr. Mohammed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, in charge of managing the work of the General Civil Aviation Authority, met with Mr. Hector Porcella, President of the Civil Aviation Council of the Dominican Republic, on the sidelines of the authority’s participation in the (ICAN 2025) conference, held in the city of Punta Cana.
During the meeting, ways of consolidating bilateral relations between the two sides were discussed, and a memorandum of understanding was signed that allows for leasing aircraft, entering into cooperative arrangements, exchanging experiences, and enhancing cooperation between the two countries in many fields related to civil aviation.
The ICAN conference is the largest international event of its kind for negotiation and discussion of air transport affairs, keeping pace with the rapid developments in this field. It also provides a platform for negotiating air service agreements on a bilateral or multilateral basis between delegations of participating countries.
