The confrontation between Al-Shamal and Al-Shorta receives special attention, in light of the Al-Shorta team’s ambitions to continue its victories and enter strongly into the struggle for leadership, as it occupies fourth place with 34 points, and aspires to reduce the gap with leaders Al-Wakrah, which has 40 points. On the other hand, Al-Shamal, which is in seventh place with 16 points, is seeking to achieve a positive result that will enhance its chances of moving a step forward in the standings.
As for the second match, it brings together Al-Khor and Al-Sadd in a largely equal confrontation, as the two teams have the same balance of points (16 points), with Al-Khor in eighth place, while Al-Sadd is in last place, which increases the importance of the match for both parties to escape from the late positions and improve their position with the resumption of competitions.

The struggle for the volleyball league title is still raging until the final moments of the competition, in a race open to all possibilities between the top four teams. Al-Rayyan is chasing him with 33 points and 12 wins, relying on the champion’s experience, while Al-Arabi remains in the competition with 35 points, and Al-Shorta, with 34 points, is anticipating any faltering to pounce on the top. So far, both Al-Arabi and Al-Shorta have 11 victories.
