The Eid Exhibition is an exceptional experience that brought together home projects and young entrepreneurs
Home projects generate monthly revenues ranging between 38 and 51 million riyals
In light of the rapid economic transformations taking place in the State of Qatar, home projects are no longer just limited individual activities, but rather have become an essential pillar in supporting the local economy and promoting diversity and sustainability. With the acceleration of digitization and changing consumer behavior, this sector has become one of the most growing and vibrant sectors, supported by government initiatives and innovative digital platforms, foremost among which is “Sunu.”
Throughout the days of Eid Al Adha, the Eid Exhibition for Local Projects from Sununu was an exceptional experience that brought together dozens of home projects and young entrepreneurs in a direct interactive space with the public.
This event was not just a seasonal exhibition, but rather an integrated platform that reflects Sununu’s true and ongoing commitment to empowering local projects, as it provided participants with the opportunity to showcase their products, build direct relationships with customers, and test the market in a realistic environment. It also contributed to enhancing the commercial presence and special identity of each project, and transforming the experience from simply selling to building a success story.
A growing sector in numbers
Studies indicate that the number of home projects in Qatar is estimated at between 3,000 and 4,000, with a clear contribution to the creation of job opportunities estimated at between 8,000 and 11,000 jobs, in addition to achieving total monthly revenues ranging between 38 and 51 million riyals.
This sector has also witnessed notable regulatory support, as the Ministry of Trade and Industry expanded the activities allowed under home licenses from 15 activities to more than 60 activities, in addition to simplifying procedures and reducing licensing costs, which contributed to facilitating the entry of entrepreneurs into the market.
These indicators reflect accelerated growth in this sector, driven by increased demand for local products, consumers’ trend towards supporting small projects, in addition to digital transformation, which has provided unprecedented opportunities to reach customers.
Numbers reflect the real impact
In this scene, Sununu’s role is not limited to providing a digital platform, but extends to achieving a tangible economic impact on the ground. Today, Sununu supports more than 400 home projects in Qatar, and these projects contribute to achieving more than 50,000 orders per month through the platform.
Generates more than 10 million Qatari riyals in revenue
With rapid growth of +31% per month
These numbers reflect the pivotal role that Sununo plays in empowering home-based projects and transforming them into effective economic entities capable of continuing and expanding.

From a digital platform to an integrated empowerment system
In this evolving landscape, Sununu has emerged as one of the most prominent enablers of home projects, by offering an integrated model that combines technology, logistics, marketing, and qualifications.
Through its digital platform, Sununu enables home projects to reach a wide customer base within Qatar, while providing advanced delivery solutions that reduce operational challenges and open new horizons for growth. Marketing campaigns and seasonal initiatives also contribute to enhancing the visibility of these projects and increasing their sales.
Sununu Academy and capacity building for the future
Based on its belief that empowerment is not limited to selling, Sununu launched “Sununu Academy, the training arm of Sununu,” with the aim of developing the skills of entrepreneurs and home business owners through training programs and workshops designed according to their actual needs.
This role was strengthened through cooperation with the Qatar Chamber, which launched national programs to support home projects since 2015, starting with about 400 projects, with the aim of transforming them into small and medium companies.
Through this partnership, applied workshops are provided covering vital areas such as operations management, marketing, and growth strategies, giving entrepreneurs practical tools that help them develop their projects and achieve true sustainability.
An integrated system that drives growth
What distinguishes Sununu is its adoption of a comprehensive approach to empowerment, which includes:
– Market access: via the application and broad customer base
– Logistical support: through advanced delivery services
– Smart marketing: through seasonal campaigns and initiatives
– Training and qualification: through Sununu Academy and its institutional partnerships
– Field empowerment: through events such as the Eid exhibition for local projects
This integration contributes to transforming the challenges facing home projects into real opportunities for growth and expansion.
Towards a more inclusive and sustainable local economy
Within the framework of Qatar National Vision 2030, which focuses on economic diversification and promoting innovation, home projects emerge as one of the most important drivers of future growth. With continued government support and the development of digital platforms, this sector is moving towards greater expansion and influence.
In this context, Sununu emphasizes – through its various initiatives – that empowering local projects is not just an initiative, but rather a long-term strategic commitment based on investing in people, supporting ideas, and transforming them into sustainable projects.
Between vision and impact
Sununu’s Eid Exhibition for Local Enterprises was not just a four-day event, but rather the embodiment of a clear vision that believes that the real economy begins with the community. As Sununu continues to develop its programs, from digital empowerment to training through the Sununu Academy, the company continues to consolidate its position as an essential partner in the success journey of entrepreneurs in Qatar.
In a rapidly changing world, the real difference lies in the ability to empower individuals—which Sununu places at the heart of its strategy for the future.
