Gulf Warehousing establishes new companies in Qatar and the Emirates

Gulf Warehousing Company (a Qatari public shareholding company) announced the establishment of new subsidiaries in the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to changing the name of one of its subsidiaries, as part of the company’s strategy aimed at strengthening its regional presence and expanding the scope of its logistics services.
The company confirmed in a statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website today that these steps come in line with its strategic plans aimed at diversifying the group’s activities, enhancing its operational capabilities, and expanding its logistical services base in the region’s markets, noting that these developments are not expected to have any material impact on the company’s financial statements.
The company explained that it established “GWC Biosafe Transport of Hazardous Materials LLC” in the State of Qatar and “GWC Express Trading LLC” in the United Arab Emirates. The name of “Prime Inspection Services” was also changed to “GWC Bu Sulba Logistics Services LLC” in the State of Qatar.
As part of the expansion of the specialized logistics services sector, the group also announced the establishment of “GWC Energy Logistics LLC – Sharjah 1 Branch” in the United Arab Emirates.
