Meet Shouq Al Mahmoudi, Director of the Maps and Graphics Department at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, and one of the Qatari talents participating in the knowledge and expertise transfer program during the FIFA World Cup 2026™️. The Supreme Committee plays an active role in supporting the organization of the tournament, while continuing to keep pace with the latest global trends and practices in the major events sector.
Al Mahmoudi said: “I am honored to represent the State of Qatar in the World Cup, and to share the experiences we have gained from organizing major events, as employing this expertise and continuing to contribute to organizing major global events embodies Qatar’s continued leadership in this field, and the legacy that we have succeeded in building.”
Al Mahmoudi currently serves as the Director of Facility Operations at Kansas City Stadium, where she contributes her expertise to ensuring the facility is ready before each match.
She added: “A lot of our work is done behind the scenes, but every detail, no matter how small, contributes to shaping the fan experience. We work to ensure that they arrive at the stadium smoothly and are able to enjoy the match, and for me, contributing to providing this welcoming atmosphere is both an honor and a responsibility.”
Al Mahmoudi is part of the team of Supreme Committee experts who are participating in supporting the organization of the FIFA World Cup 2026™️, within the framework of a knowledge exchange agreement between the Supreme Committee and the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). After successfully organizing a historic edition of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️, the committee’s experts are working alongside the host city teams in the United States of America and Canada, offering their expertise in various operational and organizational aspects.
Al Mahmoudi concluded by saying: “I feel very proud to see others benefiting from the successes achieved by Qatar. Participating in global events such as the World Cup ensures that we remain at the forefront of international best practices, while we continue to raise the standards of organizing every major event hosted by Qatar.”
