The Italian club Juventus announced that it has signed Italian international goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, coming from English club Tottenham, on a one-season loan.

The club explained, in a statement today, that Vicario signed a contract extending until June 30, 2027, to be a key member of the football team during the new season, in light of the team’s aspirations to return to competing for titles after finishing sixth in the Italian League last season and failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Vicario, 29 years old, joined the ranks of Tottenham in 2023 from Empoli, Italy, and participated with the London team in 117 matches in the English Premier League, during which he kept a clean sheet in 29 matches, and also contributed to the club winning the European League title in 2025.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario previously played for several Italian clubs, most notably Udinese, Perugia, Cagliari and Empoli, before moving to Tottenham.
