Today, Qatar National Library organized a symposium entitled “How Artificial Intelligence is Changing the Way We Learn,” with the participation of an elite group of education experts and technology specialists, as part of the latest “Scientific Book Forum” symposium.

The symposium discussed the profound impact of artificial intelligence in modern classrooms, and the transformations that its technologies are bringing about in the educational landscape, beyond the traditional uses of artificial intelligence in creating and accessing content.

During the symposium, attendees learned about a number of complex concepts, including deterministic programming, statistical approaches, and modern neural networks, which constitute the basic engine of generative artificial intelligence techniques and adaptive learning platforms.

The symposium included a group of interactive activities and live performances, along with realistic examples that allowed participants to learn about the systems that are leading this transformation in the field of education.

It also witnessed extensive discussions about the promising opportunities and challenges posed by artificial intelligence in the educational environment, and the mechanisms of operation of these technologies and their future dimensions.

The teachers and educators attending gained a deeper understanding of how to employ artificial intelligence strategically to support the promotion of critical thinking, deep reflection, and personal growth, which are among the authentic pillars of human learning that no technology can replace.
