The General Under-16 Basketball League for the sports season (2026-2027) will begin tomorrow, Sunday, with two matches being held at the Qatar Basketball Association hall.
The first match brings together the Qatari teams with Al Rayyan at the opening of the first round, in a confrontation during which the two teams seek to score a strong start, while in the second match, Al Khor will meet with Al Sadd.
The first round matches will continue on September 20, with two matches, the first bringing together Al-Wakrah with Al-Gharafa, followed by Al-Ahly’s match with Al-Shamal.
The second round competitions will be held on the 27th of the same month, where Al Gharafa will face Al Khor, then Al Shamal will meet Al Wakrah. The round will be completed on October 4 with Al Sadd facing Qatar, and Al Rayyan facing Al Arabi.
The competitions will continue with the two matches of the third round on the first of next November, where Al-Khor will meet Al-Shamal, then Qatar Club will meet Al-Gharafa.
The third round matches will conclude on the 8th of the same month, with Al Arabi facing Al Sadd, and Al Wakrah facing Al Ahly.
The fourth round begins on November 15, with matches between Al-Shamal with Qatar Club, and Al-Ahly with Al-Khor, before the round matches conclude on the 22nd of the same month, with Al-Gharafa meeting with Al-Arabi, and Al-Sadd with Al-Rayyan.
