The gains of the Qatar Stock Exchange index increased at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.17 percent, adding 16.41 points to its balance compared to the close of the last session, rising to the level of 9840 points with support from four sectors.
Qatar Stock Exchange data showed a positive performance for the industrial sector by 1.32 percent, the insurance sector by 0.84 percent, the communications sector by 0.08 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.08 percent. In contrast, the performance was negative for the banking and financial services sector by 0.17 percent, the real estate sector by 0.22 percent, and the transportation sector by 0.39 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth 57.374 million riyals, distributed among 24.364 million shares, with 3,182 transactions executed.
