Al Meera Consumer Goods Company is participating in the 11th edition of Hospitality Qatar 2026 as the official retail partner, which is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from October 12 to 14.
Al Meera, as one of the most prominent national retail companies in Qatar, continues to expand its services aimed at the business sector and strengthen its cooperation with hotels, restaurants, catering companies and other institutions operating in the hospitality sector.
Over the past ten years, the Qatar Hospitality Exhibition has established its position as one of the leading platforms in the hospitality sector, as it brings together suppliers, investors, innovators and specialists from Qatar and international markets, and also provides an important space for communication, business development and enhancing cooperation between various entities working in the sector.
This partnership provides Al Meera with an opportunity to strengthen its relationships with various entities operating in the hospitality sector, and to benefit from its expertise in the retail sector and the diversity of its products, in addition to its ability to supply and meet the needs of companies through its wide network of suppliers, which contributes to strengthening cooperation with institutions operating in the sector and opens the way for building new relationships with local and international partners.
Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al Ansari, CEO of Al Meera, said: “As a national retailer, we play an important role in supporting the continued development of the hospitality sector in Qatar. The Qatar Hospitality Exhibition brings together companies and partners who contribute to shaping the features of this sector, starting from producers and suppliers to hotels and restaurants. By expanding our services to the business sector and strengthening our relationships with these entities, we are working to create new opportunities that will allow Al Meera to support the sector on a broader scale and contribute to its continued growth.”
Supporting local producers is a fundamental focus of this approach. Al Meera cooperates with Qatari farms, manufacturers and local brands to offer national products in its branches spread throughout the country. Its participation in the Qatar Hospitality Exhibition provides an opportunity to connect these producers directly with buyers in the hospitality sector, allowing their products to reach a wider segment of customers.
The wide and diverse network of suppliers also contributes to supporting the stability of food supplies in Qatar, and gives companies greater confidence in the continuous availability of the products they need.
The numbers reflect the volume of Al Meera’s business and the breadth of its network of commercial relationships. The company cooperates with up to 200 local companies, with an average annual business value of about 700 million Qatari riyals, and this business represents about 25% of the company’s total sales. On a larger scale, Al Meera’s network includes about 750 suppliers, and its supply sources extend to more than 100 countries around the world.
