Some people feel dizzy when bending, what are the reasons for that?

To answer this question, the German Association for Public Medicine and Family Medicine explained that feeling dizzy during the bending has many reasons, most notably the benign local roundabout, which arises due to certain movements in the head, such as:

  • Bending
  • Rotation, lowering, or lifting it
  • Llaming and fluctuating during lying down or sitting

The reason for this type of rotor is the presence of small crystals in the inner ear, which changes its position when moving the head, and this leads to irritation of sensory cells. Sensory cells send a movement to the brain, but they do not correspond to the movement, which is perceived by the eye. This feeling causes a sudden dizziness.

Erectile blood pressure

The rotor may also be due to a sudden decrease in blood pressure when standing up or sitting in a straight position in what is known as an erectile dysfunction, which occurs due to poor blood pressure regulation. The reasons for this weakness are in the following diseases:

  • Cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure or coronary heart disease
  • diabetes
  • Diseases such as Parkinson’s disease or dementia
  • Kidney failure

Drugs

Some medications can also feel dizzy when bending or standing if taken for a long period of time, for example:

  • Blood pressure lowering medications
  • Diuretics
  • Antidepressants

In any case, you should consult a doctor to determine the real cause behind a feeling of dizziness when bending, especially when it occurs frequently and for a long period of time, as well as if it is accompanied by other symptoms such as fainting.
