Mr. Hamad Mubarak Al -Hajri, founder and CEO of Sulto, stressed that super apps is not just a way to provide services, but rather the future of the digital economy, as it reshapes the way users interact with technology in their daily lives.
This came during a discussion session on the sidelines of the activities of the Qatar 2025 web summit, which dealt with the future of super apps at the global level and its role in promoting digital transformation and smart services.
The session was attended by Juan Pablo Ortega (founder and CEO of Yuno, and Philip Candal (Head of the Products Department in GRA), in addition to Mr. Hamad Al -Hajri (founder and CEO of Snoonu) where they reviewed the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of these applications that provide multiple solutions on one platform.
The speakers also discussed the importance of providing a comprehensive and comprehensive user experience, as highly complementary applications require advanced services, such as electronic payment, delivery, and shopping, which makes technical infrastructure an essential factor for its success. Also highlighted how these applications are aligned with different markets, especially in light of the organizational and technical differences between regions.

Innovation in applications design
The discussion also touched on innovation in the design of applications, and the importance of software as a service (SAAS) in supporting expansion, as well as the role of strategic partnerships in achieving long -term success. The speakers emphasized that the biggest challenge lies in achieving a balance between rapid expansion and quality guarantee, as applications must be flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of users.
During his participation, Mr. Hamad Al -Hajri said that the comprehensive applications (Super Apps) revolutionized the way users interact with digital services, as it combines electronic payments, e -commerce, transportation, food delivery, and other services in one platform. These applications not only reshape lifestyles, but also draw the future of digital trade worldwide.

Super applications in the Gulf
Al -Hajri pointed out that the market for the super application in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is distinguished by unique privacy, saying: “Why should the business model be limited to only one service? The market in the Gulf is relatively small compared to China, as the population in the GCC countries is only 45 million, which makes many emerging ideas not applicable unless they are combined within a comprehensive application that provides an integrated system for users. On the possibility of expanding comprehensive applications outside its local borders, Al -Hajri stressed that one of the most important factors for success is to focus on local needs, as food is the best entrance, as it is a global need. Comprehensive applications are able to provide a dedicated local experience that competes with international companies such as Uber. For example, Grab was the perfect solution to competing with Uber in Singapore, and Rappi succeeded in tackling Uber Eats in Colombia and South America as well.

Loyalty programs
The CEO of Snowo also indicated that customer loyalty and attracting youth through loyalty and interactive games and NFT technology will have a major role in the future, adding: “We have already launched a loyalty program that depends on the level of levels and challenges, and includes digital rewards and NFT technologies. This model will be decisive in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. ”
Al -Hajri stressed that artificial intelligence will be the main driver in all sectors in the coming years, stressing the need to think globally from the beginning and not to adhere to one market.

Confidence in local knowledge
Al -Hajri pointed out the importance of confidence in local knowledge, saying: “Do not let the Silicon Valley investors tell you that your business model is not suitable, they do not understand your market as you do.” In conclusion, Mr. Hamad Al -Hajri said: “We believe in Snowo that innovation is limitless.
