The Qatar Railways Company “Rail” announced the new working hours for the services of the Doha Metro and Tarm Lusail during the holy month of Ramadan, which witnessed an extension to keep pace with the atmosphere of the holy month.
The official account of the Doha metro and the Lusail tram in the X social networking platform published a schedule that includes the working hours, as the doors of the Doha metro stations open with its three lines at 5:30 am, to be closed at one thirty in the next morning from Saturday to Thursday every week. On Friday, the working hours will be from 9:30 am until one thirty in the morning. As for Lusail’s tram hours, it also witnessed an extension to 5.30 in the morning, to be closed at two in the morning, from Saturday to Thursday, and on Friday, the working hours will be from 2.30 noon until two in the morning.
The update of the service hours for the Doha metro and Tarm Lusail comes within the framework of the “Rail” company’s keenness to provide a better service that suits customers and helps them enjoy the atmosphere of the holy month.
The Doha Metro, with its three lines, “Red, Green, Golden”, provides an experiment that transports a series to the residents of the State of Qatar, in addition to being an ideal option to move between the main destinations in the country through its 37 stations covering the city of Doha.
As for the Lusail tram, it serves the city of Lusail, which is located north of the city of Doha, which is one of the largest sustainable real estate development projects in the State of Qatar through an advanced tram system that connects the main and important points within the city of Lusail, and extends at a distance of 19 km through 25 stations linking the city of Lusail to each other, such as government agencies, residential towers, sports facilities, marina and other destinations in the city.
In the context, work hours will also be extended with a bus services, also to comply with the work hours of the metro, tram and the closing of the stations.
