The old port of Doha "Stack" Beach volleyball starts tomorrow

Tomorrow Thursday, the old Doha Port Championship “Ikas” for Ramadan beach volleyball will start in its third edition, with the participation of 12 teams and will continue until March 14.

Faisal Al -Otaibi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, announced in a press statement that the preparations and preparations for the start of the championship, thanked the old Doha Port for hosting the third version of the Ramadan Championship, and to all the sponsors of it.

Al -Otaibi stressed that the new tournament will continue the success achieved by the two past versions, which were held in Aspire Zone and achieved success at all levels, whether technical, organizational or mass.

He explained that the participating teams were distributed to four groups. The first group included the teams (Vikka, Azghoui and Mangustein), while the second group included the teams (Dean, Al -Rayyan and Al -Madaid), and the third group included the teams (the challenge of information, the pulp and the monitor), while the fourth group included the teams (Khalifa City, the Police College and Mars).

Three matches will be held tomorrow, as the first match will start at eight thirty in the evening between Victonna and Azghoui, followed by the second match at nine thirty between the dean and Al -Rayyan, then the confrontations will be concluded by meeting the challenge of information and the pulse at ten thirty in the evening.

The tournament will be held in the group of groups from one role so that the first and second each group qualifies to the quarter -finals.

The organizing committee announced a financial prizes of 100 thousand riyals for the owners of the first three places, in the context of supporting and encouraging the participating teams, as the hero will receive 50 thousand riyals, the runner -up 30 thousand riyals, and the third place is 20 thousand riyals. The amount of 600 thousand riyals was also monitored as gifts and prizes for the masses, in addition to holding a set of accompanying events.
