The Investment Promotion Agency in Qatar and the General Authority for Regulatory of the Real Estate Sector / Real Estate / successfully concluded their participation at the International Real Estate Exhibition “MIPIM 2025”, the global real estate event that was held recently in the French city of Cannes with the participation of more than 90 countries.
A statement by the Investment Promotion Agency stated that the Qatar Pavilion witnessed wide interest from global investors and real estate sector leaders, as it gave them the opportunity to explore the prosperous real estate market in Qatar, learn about the latest developments in this field, and investment opportunities in the country.
The pavilion included a group of senior real estate developers in Qatar, which included the United Development Company and Qatifan Projects Company, where innovative projects were reviewed that reflect Qatar’s commitment to sustainable and smart urban development.
This participation comes within the framework of the national real estate promotion strategy that aims to diversify income sources, promote sustainable development, and attract foreign investment.
This year the exhibition witnessed the presence of more than 20,000 participants from more than 90 countries, a group of major investors and real estate developers, and decision makers in the global real estate sector, along with high -ranking government officials and sovereign wealth funds that manage a total value of 4 trillion euros.
The real estate market in Qatar is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country, as it recorded a growth of 34 percent during the period from 2015 to 2023, in addition to an increase of 50 percent in the number of construction permits issued.
The advanced organizational environment and continuous investment in infrastructure also contribute to increasing the attractiveness of the real estate sector in Qatar, which provides promising investment opportunities for local and international investors.
