Qatar Tourism stated that these plates provide visitors with clear information about the classification of each hotel, which enhances transparency, advances the quality of the service, and contributes to improving the experience of guests, according to the official standards approved by Qatar for tourism.
Hotels and hotel apartments are classified according to the number of accepted stars, based on specific criteria set by Qatar for tourism to ensure the quality of services and facilities provided in which public places are established, guests, bathrooms, service quality, employee development, food, beverages and even room facilities. In addition to the evaluation of hotels on the basis of environmental sustainability management.
These criteria include the following:
Architectural and internal design: The hotel design is distinctive, with unique and dedicated furniture.
Services and facilities: Providing a wide range of high -quality services and facilities, including public places, guest rooms, bathrooms, service quality, employee development, food and drinks.
Hygiene and maintenance: Keep the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance throughout the hotel.
Environmental Sustainability Management: Hotels are evaluated based on their practices in environmental sustainability management.
Hotels are classified from one star to five stars, where hotels must achieve a certain percentage in evaluation criteria to obtain a specific classification. For example, to get a five -star rating, the hotel must achieve at least 95% in evaluation criteria.
