The Ministry of Interior and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) will participate in the security coverage of the Manchester City and Manchester United teams tomorrow, as part of the English Football League competition.
The Ministry of Interior stated, in a statement today, that this participation comes within the framework of exchanging experiences and benefiting from the efficiency of the Qatari security cadres, which it gained in the fields of securing sporting events and major events.
She explained that the participation came with the aim of strengthening international cooperation, and as an extension of the successive successes achieved by the Qatari security forces, which received wide international praise.
The ministry said that this participation highlights the position of the State of Qatar as a reliable international partner in the security field, and reflects the development of Qatari competencies in managing security operations, according to the latest international standards.
