We highlight 10 exciting things that characterize the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025: The first is that it will be the first edition of the World Cup with the participation of 48 teams, and all 104 matches will be held in eight stadiums in the Competitions Complex in Aspire Zone. The unique hosting concept will allow fans to enjoy attending matches in one area. The final match will be held at Khalifa International Stadium
The group stage until the round of 32 will witness the holding of up to eight matches per day, as the one-day ticket allows fans to attend more than one match per day. The tournament will witness the participation of five teams for the first time: Fiji, the Republic of Ireland, Zambia, El Salvador, and Uganda. On match days, the tournament will witness a vibrant area that receives fans starting at 1:30 pm.
As the stars of tomorrow prepare to shine at the competition complex in Aspire Zone, the tournament will also provide a platform that celebrates emerging talent outside the green rectangle. Puma™, the official mascot of the tournament, will appear in a distinctive way during the period of the global football event. The tournament will ensure inclusion for all fans with availability and accessibility features, such as ticket options for places for wheelchair users, in addition to the audio descriptive commentary service in Arabic and English. Many local bodies will participate in the fan zone, such as the Pre-University Education Association at Qatar Foundation, and the Qatar Foundation Pre-University Education Association.
