Visit QATAR, in cooperation with / Qatar / and Qatar Airways, has organized a promotional tour in Nigeria with the aim of promoting entertainment tourism and temporary pausing packages in Doha.
A statement of Qatar Tourism explained today that this initiative brought together 120 of the most prominent commercial partners and travel specialists through a major event held in the city of Lagos, in the presence of more than 100 guests, and also hosted 20 senior concerned in the tourism sector.
The statement added, “These activities aim to shed light on the unique tourism ingredients that characterize the State of Qatar, enhance cooperation opportunities between companies, and consolidate Qatar’s position as a preferred destination for recreational tourism in the region, as well as highlighting the global experiences provided by Qatar and the ease of access to the Qatar Airways network, which includes more than 170 global destinations.”
He pointed out that the promotional tour affirmed the commitment of the State of Qatar to enhance the capabilities of tourism in the Nigerian market and enhance trade relations with the West Africa region.
VISIT QATAR, through these activities and its partners, seeks to determine the aspects of cooperation with partners from tourist organizers and travel companies, as well as promoting the main tourist attractions of Qatar, its infrastructure in the field of hospitality, and temporary stops, and the program also aims to link travel agents from Nigeria with tourism destinations management companies, hotels and suppliers in Qatar, in a way that paves the way for future fruitful cooperation.
