Today, the Saudi Al-Nassr Club announced the absence of its star and top scorer, the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, from the match against the Iraqi police, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, in the first edition of the AFC Champions League for elite football.

The club stated in a statement on its official account that the team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, had suffered a health problem that required him to rest for several days before returning to participate with the team, which led to his exclusion from accompanying the club’s mission to Iraq.

Al-Nassr is looking forward to achieving victory on the Asian level and making up for its stumbling in the local competitions, in which it started the season with a loss to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup, before losing four points in the first three matches in the Saudi League.

Al-Nassr Club previously defeated Al-Shorta of Iraq by one goal, in the semi-finals of the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023.
