Al Khor Club held its “regular” general assembly meeting yesterday at the club’s headquarters to discuss the topics and points included in the agenda, most notably approving the minutes of the previous regular general assembly meeting, and discussing the president’s report on the club’s work in the past year. The general assembly was attended by Nasser Thamer Al Humaidi, the club’s president, Abdulrahman Hassan Al Emadi, the club’s general manager, and a representative of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The general assembly members praised the management’s efforts following the team’s qualification and return to the Stars League after spending two seasons in the second division, hoping that the team will provide strong levels that will enable it to remain with the big teams. It was also suggested to develop the club’s logo, and there will be a new logo for Al Khor in the coming period.
For his part, Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Amadi, General Manager of Al-Khor Club, said, “We congratulate Al-Khor Club members and fans on the team’s return to the Stars League. We promise the fans that we will present a distinguished season. There are contracts and many matters that the management is working on with all its might.”
He added, “The General Assembly witnessed many proposals, including developing the identity in the coming period. There is a new logo for the club that will please the members and fans. He also confirmed that there is a deal for a distinguished Iraqi professional in the coming period, and there are other players that will be announced to strongly support the team. I would like to thank the clubs for their cooperation with us and we look forward to achieving the best in the new season.”
