Al-Misnad: Close cooperation between the Qatari private sector and its Omani counterpart

Qatar Chamber participated in the Qatari-Omani Investment Forum, which was held yesterday, Thursday, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Maliki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Her Excellency Mrs. Ibtisam bint Ahmed Al-Furujiyah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in the Sultanate of Oman, where the Chamber’s delegation participating in the forum was headed by Engineer Ali bin Abdul Latif. Al-Misnad, a member of the Board of Directors, and the delegation included Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Ansari, Dr. Muhammad Jawhar Al Muhammad, and Mrs. Ibtihaj Al-Ahmadani.
In his intervention at the forum, Engineer Ali bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad, a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, stressed the importance of the private sector’s participation in strengthening trade and investment cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, pointing out that the private sector in the two countries hopes that there will be government initiatives to launch partnership projects between the public and private sectors in Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman in various sectors.
Al-Misnad pointed out that there are many viable investment opportunities in the two countries that can be exploited by the private sector, especially in the logistics sector, pointing out that joint Qatari-Omani projects could be established not only in the two countries, but also in other countries.
Al-Misnad praised the close cooperation relations between the private sector in Qatar and Oman, and pointed to the growth of Qatari investments in the Sultanate of Oman and that Qatari businessmen welcomed strengthening cooperation with their Omani counterparts.
