Al Sadd’s first football team will launch its preparations for the new season 2024-2025, by holding its first training session tomorrow, Monday, at seven in the evening, on the subsidiary field at the leader’s training center.
The leader’s players are scheduled to undergo physical and medical measurements to determine the players’ condition after a negative rest period following the end-of-season crowning with the Emir’s Cup.
The leader’s training will be led during this period by the Spaniard Sergio Allegri, who had worked as an assistant to Xavi during his leadership of the team, and who was contracted to be part of the new technical staff that will be announced at a later time.
Al Sadd is racing against time to bring in a new coach to be present with the team during the preparatory camp for the new season. There are many coaches on the team management table, most notably the Spaniard Felix Sanchez, the former coach of our national team, who is expected to arrive within hours. Al Sadd Club seeks to complete all the files so that the team is ready to continue its success and brilliance, after the team achieved two titles last season with coach Wissam Rizk. The team is also about to participate in the Asian Elite Championship, in which the team looks forward to competing strongly.
The recent period witnessed the resolution of many files by the Board of Directors, starting with the official contracting of the Spanish striker, Rafa Mujica, starting from the 2024-2025 season for a period of 4 years, coming from the Portuguese team Arouca, who came as a successor to the Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah, who left at the end of the season and joined the Al-Shamal team, in addition to renewing the contract with the distinguished duo Khoukhi Boualem and Tariq Salman until 2027 in a distinctive step considering that the duo are distinguished and influential elements with our national team, the leader Al-Saddawi.
