“Basem” competes with the world’s elite, Longines International

The Longines World Show Jumping Champions Championship and the Champions League for Teams announced the riders participating in the eleventh round in the Dutch city of Valkenswaard, during the period from November 4-6, 2026, at the Tops International Show Jumping Arena, the stronghold of the founder of the championship. Participating in the round from Qatar is the rider Bassem Hassan Mohammed. Attention is turning towards an exceptional event in the heartland of the championship, as a group of world stars in the sport of show jumping have been confirmed to participate in the Longines Global Champions Tour.
As Longines International Champions celebrates its distinguished twentieth season, the championship returns to its home in Valkenswaard this week with an exceptional elite group of medalists, title contenders, Grand Prix winners and rising stars, all ready to take on the action in the heart of the Netherlands.
As the competition for valuable championship points intensifies and the season enters a decisive phase, the magnificent Longines Tops International Arena will welcome a number of the most prominent names in the world of international show jumping, over the course of three days of high-level sporting competitions.
Dutch star Harry Smulders will be at the forefront of the competition on home soil and among his fans, as he returns to Valkenswaard as one of the most successful riders in the history of the World Tour. He will be joined by a strong team of Dutch talent, including Michael van der Vleuten, Sunny Thiessen, Kevin Jochims, Pim Mulder, Matthijs van Asten, Roloof Brill, and Enrico van Manen, ensuring that local fans will have great opportunities to cheer on their heroes throughout the weekend.
