In support of the third national development strategy 2024-2030 under Qatar’s National Vision 2030, the Doha and Fermunt Doha Hotel continues to commit to the development of local talents and contribute to the sustainable growth of the tourism sector in Qatar, which is a basic pillar of national economic diversification. In the context of this commitment, the company said .. We were honored to host two Qatari students from the International University College of Al -Rayyan (ARIU), who recently completed their training period in the “Entrepreneurship Project” unit. Through this initiative, we invite students to link academic theory to practical application, explore the challenges of the real world in the classroom before entering our hotels to conduct field research and suggest practical solutions.
During their training period, students gained practical experience in the departments of guests, events and spas, where they interacted directly with the guests and received a continuous directive from our team. This overwhelming experience provided valuable visions about operating excellence and service culture that defines luxury hospitality.
This initiative reflects the broader vision of Katara Hospitality in its endeavor to develop Qatari talents, which shows our commitment to building strong cadres from future hospitality professionals. It also supports the ongoing distillation efforts that have become possible through cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and its talent development teams, which continue to link us with renewable files from the promising national workforce that is characterized by dynamic.
