The Qatar Academy of Aviation Sciences and Qatar Airways signed a cooperation agreement during the activities of the Paris International Air Exhibition in France.
The pilot training agreement approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was signed between the Qatar Aviation Science Academy represented by His Excellency Sheikh Jabr bin Hamad Al Thani, General Manager, and Qatar Airways Group represented by Eng. Badr Mohamed El -Mir, CEO of the group.
The academy is expected to contribute to training about 750 students over a period of five years, which opens promising horizons for joint cooperation, exchanging experiences, developing national competencies in the aviation sector, and creating distinguished opportunities for young people who want to join this field.
“The agreement reflects the continuous commitment to developing the next generation of aviation specialists and we are investing in the future of operations, through partnership with the leading international institutions, and we also support young talents to obtain the training and opportunities necessary for success in this dynamic industry,” said Captain Khaled Issa Al Hammadi, First Vice President of Operating Operations in Qatar Airways.
He added that in this context, we are proud to support the initiatives that enhance innovation, exchange of knowledge and job growth in the long term in the advanced aviation sector.
Al -Hammadi noted that this agreement embodies the interest of Qatar Airways in investing in the people of the country and residents of the future generations, based on Qatar National Vision 2030 and the long -term Qatar Airways strategy.
