China has developed the world’s first medical rescue plane, to improve rescue capabilities in emergency and harsh environments. The driving plane was created by the “Hation” company of the Chinese National Shipbuilding Company, in cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The plane is characterized by its ability to provide emergency medical treatment on site and transport the injured quickly, as it is equipped with advanced medical functions such as breathing support and biological control. Huang Yi Hong, Chairman and Specialist in the company, said the drone is able to perform accurate searches and rescue in harsh environments, including wet, salty and turbulent seas, extremist temperatures ranging between 25 and 46 degrees Celsius, and altitudes of up to 5 thousand meters. He explained that the weight of the plane is 600 kilograms with a cargo capacity of 300 kilograms, as independent flight situations, such as navigation, are integrated into specific location points and flying, with ground control, allowing rapid spread in disasters and epidemics.
