Civil Aviation showcases latest air navigation systems and technologies

The General Authority of Civil Aviation participated with an introductory pavilion in the 14th Air Navigation Conference, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal from August 26 to September 6 under the slogan “Improving Performance to Sustainability.”
Through this participation, the Authority aims to highlight the latest systems and technologies adopted in air traffic management in the State of Qatar.
During its participation in the conference, the Authority also presented a visual presentation, in which it discussed the most prominent developments witnessed by the aviation system in the State of Qatar and the most important achievements that have been made during the past period, in addition to the services and procedures provided by the Authority in managing air traffic.
Mr. Mohammed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, Acting Director of the General Civil Aviation Authority, met with His Excellency Mr. Salvatore Sciacchitano, President of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), during the Authority’s participation in the 14th Air Navigation Conference currently being held in the Canadian city of Montreal.
The Qatari delegation participating in the conference was headed by Mr. Mohammed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, Acting Director of the General Civil Aviation Authority, in addition to the presence of Mr. Issa bin Abdullah Al-Malki, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the ICAO, and a number of Qatari experts in the Air Navigation Department. During the conference, Mr. Mohammed bin Faleh Al-Hajri met a number of international officials concerned with the sector.
