Cooperation agreement between the Qatari and Iranian federations

The Qatari and Iranian handball federations signed a joint cooperation agreement between the two sides in the administrative and technical fields to serve the game in the two countries, and the signing ceremony took place in the conference hall at the headquarters of the Hand Union in the presence of Ahmed Al -Shaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Handball Federation, and Ali Reda Bakille, President of the Iranian Handball Federation, in the presence of Muhammad Ali Sherband, the first secretary of the Iranian embassy in Doha and members of the Board of Directors of the Qatari and Iranian federations, and aims to the agreement to the agreement to the agreement Enhancing and encouraging the following cooperative activities between the federations with regard to national teams and competitions, through the exchange of visits between national teams and club players to participate in friendly competitions for men and women (youth, young people, and adults) in both countries, during the next three years (2026, 2027, and 2028).
The agreement also aims to exchange technical and administrative experiences, regarding the exchange and discussion of technical and administrative matters that may contribute to the development of handball. Moreover, both federations support each other in the conditions and policies of international events.
The agreement extends to the coaches in the two countries, by organizing joint conferences, seminars and courses between their countries with the aim of improving the level of coaches and handball specialists, and
Ahmed Al -Shaabi, head of the Qatar Handball Federation, said that the agreement is intended to exchange administrative and technical expertise in the fields of coaches and referees and teams in its various age groups in handball, noting that the two federations have a distinct relationship, but technical matters require cooperation in various fields that serve handball in Qatar and Iran, indicating at the same time that the agreement will be done immediately after signing it from both sides for the public interest The two countries added that the exchange of visits between the various cadres and the teams in Qatar and Iran, as well as the arbitration visits and the exchange of experiences in it.
