Meta has launched a new tool based on artificial intelligence to help content creators develop their posts and improve audience interaction on Instagram, by analyzing the performance of their accounts and providing personalized suggestions.
The tool is called Edits Assistant, and Meta has integrated it into the Edits application dedicated to editing video clips, which the company launched last year to compete with the CapCut application.

The tool relies on previous account data to determine the types of content that achieve the best interaction, and the assistant conducts a comprehensive analysis of content performance, by examining data from previous videos, including likes, shares, views, and viewer retention rates. With the aim of discovering long-term patterns that explain the success of some publications compared to others.

Creators can ask questions about the performance of their posts, and get suggestions for the right types of content for their audience, along with ideas for opening hooks, titles, descriptions, and audio clips, to fit their account’s style.

Instagram is currently testing the feature with a selected group of content makers, and allows it to be used for free with a limited number of requests per day, while users can subscribe to the Meta One service to obtain a larger number of requests.
Through the tool, Meta seeks to transform account performance data into practical recommendations that help content creators develop what they publish in the future.
