Discussion on international civil aviation security protocols

The General Civil Aviation Authority organized a course entitled “International Aviation Crimes Law” for a number of its employees and employees of several other entities in the country, including the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Public Prosecution, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Transport, the Airport Security Department, and Qatar Airways, during the period from July 22 to 25.
The course, presented by Mr. Adnan Al-Daqour, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for International Treaties and Agreements, addressed several topics and themes related to crimes related to the aviation sector.
The course also highlighted a set of international treaties and protocols related to civil aviation security.
The aim of organizing this course is to provide a platform for exchanging information and enhancing the full understanding of international aviation crimes law on a global scale, and to improve the frameworks for purposeful cooperation between experts and specialists in aviation security and law in the State of Qatar.
The session’s activities also stem from the Authority’s belief in the necessity of providing specialists with the legal knowledge and expertise necessary to face the challenges and opportunities emerging in this field.
