Draw the draw for the Amateur Cup for the 2025-2026 season

The Qatar Football Association held the draw for the Amateur Cup Championship for the 2025-2026 sports season, at the association’s headquarters, in the presence of representatives of the 8 participating teams, in a meeting that also witnessed the launch of the championship logo and the organizational and technical aspects.
The draw ceremony began with a welcome speech delivered by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Deputy Director of Competitions and Player Affairs at the Qatar Football Association, in which he welcomed the attendees, appreciating the teams’ efforts during the sports season, and congratulating the top eight teams in the league standings on their qualification to the 2026 Amateur Cup competitions, wishing them good luck and success in the tournament.
After that, Mr. Khaled Al-Rumaihi from the Federation’s Competitions Department gave a presentation on the tournament system and the mechanism for drawing lots, explaining the details of the competitions, before Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Ansari began conducting the lottery process, which resulted in the teams being distributed into two groups (A and B).
The first group included teams: Leabaib, Al Jasra, Al Shaqab and Al Nasr, while the second group included teams: Doha, Musheireb, Riffa and Al Rumaila, with the group stage matches being held in a one-stage league system.
The championship competitions will start on April 3 and 4, 2026 at Doha Stadium, and will continue through three rounds of the group stage until April 18, 2026, before moving to the semi-finals on April 24 and 25, where the first group (A) will meet the second group (B), and the first group (B) will meet the second group (A). On the first day, corresponding to April 4, 2026, the teams of Leaib and Al-Nasr will play, while the Doha team will face the Rumaila team, followed by the next day. Two matches, the first brings together Yajasra and Al Shaqab, followed by a match between Musheireb and Al Riffa.
