The Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.94 percent, adding 95.06 points to its balance and rising to the level of 10,189 points compared to the close of the last session, with support from all sectors.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed a positive performance for all sectors. The transportation sector rose by 1.50 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 1.11 percent, the industrial sector by 1.01 percent, the real estate sector by 1.00 percent, the insurance sector by 0.99 percent, the communications sector by 0.92 percent, and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.84 percent.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth 87.683 million riyals, distributed among 38.256 million shares, with 5,415 transactions executed.
