Engineer Ghanem Al-Kuwari, Deputy Director General for Technical Services at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, expressed the Supreme Committee’s pleasure in presenting the experiences and lessons learned from achieving a successful hosting of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to its counterparts in the Kingdom of Morocco, stressing that participation in the “Knowledge Transfer” workshop reflects interest in The Supreme Committee exchanges experiences and provides an opportunity to highlight the sustainable legacy of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which will greatly benefit the region.
For his part, Moaz Hajji, General Coordinator of the Moroccan Committee for the 2030 World Cup, praised the valuable contribution of the Supreme Committee for transferring knowledge and exchanging experiences regarding the State of Qatar’s hosting of the most successful and distinguished edition of the world championship ever.
In this context, he said: “The workshop addressed many topics that ensured the successful hosting of the Qatar World Cup 2022, starting from the planning stage, through the organizing and hosting process, and ending with the unique experience that the State of Qatar provided to fans from all over the world, to the participating teams, and to the accompanying administrative teams.”
