The Egyptian team defeated our national basketball team (54-83) in the match that took place yesterday evening, at the Qatar University hall, as part of the seconds of the Doha International Basketball Championship in its second edition.
The championship, which is held under the supervision of the Qatar Basketball Federation, and the cooperation of Step Ahead, witnessed the participation of four teams: Qatar (the host), Egypt, Lebanon, and the Philippines.
The Lebanese team also achieved its first victory after it managed to beat the Philippine team with a score of (75-54), on the second day of the tournament in the Qatar University hall and after the end of the second round matches, the Egyptian team tops the table with 4 points from two consecutive wins, followed by the Lebanese team and the Philippine team. In the second and third places with 3 points each, our national team is in fourth place with only two points.
