Qatar Central Bank issued instructions for processing and protecting data for financial institutions in the State of Qatar, in line with the third strategy of the financial sector, and to complement its continuous efforts to regulate the financial sector and secure its data.
The bank said, in a statement today, that these instructions determine the instructions for financial institutions, which are related to the protection, governance and data security of data in line with the best global practices.
He added that the instructions for processing and protecting data for financial institutions in the country include several major fields such as institutional governance, data governance, customer protection and data security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
