Munich Airport has announced the launch of a personal shopping service for Arab travelers. Munich Airport is constantly making efforts to enhance the passenger experience, especially as it is one of the important destinations for travelers from the Arab world.
This summer, passengers departing from Terminal 1 on leading airlines including Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, Saudi Airlines and Gulf Air will have access to a dedicated team of Arabic-speaking shopping assistants with extensive knowledge of Arab culture.
Commenting on the launch, Sven Zahn, CEO of Eurotrade Flughafen Munich Handels at Munich Airport, said: “We are delighted to launch the Personal Shopping Service in Arabic, which will further strengthen Munich Airport’s position as the preferred choice for Arab travellers. The company aims to meet the expectations of our guests and raise the level of offerings provided to them to exceed their expectations, and the launch of the Personal Shopping Service reflects our firm commitment to providing exceptional services.”
The personal shopping service allows passengers to explore a range of exclusive products at the airport’s My Duty Free stores. The offerings include a range of halal and alcohol-free products, allowing passengers to indulge in sweets from leading brands and chocolatiers such as Neuhaus. The stores also feature a range of accessories from the world’s leading brands such as Coccinelle and Longchamp.
The My Duty Free perfume shops offer a range of exclusive perfumes and cosmetics from leading brands such as Chanel, Bvlgari Le Gemme, Armani Privé and more. The personal concierge service allows passengers to select halal products and ensures that all purchases comply with baggage requirements on board to ensure a pleasant and comfortable shopping experience.
The personal shopping service is available free of charge from Monday to Sunday between 10am and 6pm during the travel season which runs until the end of September, and the service can be easily booked via WhatsApp, phone or email.
